Job Description

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will:

  • Support Project Managers with all phases of project execution
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Manage and track RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Monitor project costs and assist with financial reporting
  • Help maintain project schedules and milestone tracking
  • Attend project meetings and provide progress updates
  • Assist with procurement and material tracking
  • Ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Support project closeout activities and turnover documentation

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Assistant Porject Manager candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 1-5 years of construction industry experience
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar role preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and project coordination
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Experience reviewing drawings, submittals, and project documentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities



Experience with commercial, institutional, educational, or public-sector construction projects is highly desirable.
