MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantThe ideal Building and Construction Assistant Project Manager candidate will have:2-5+ years of construction industry experienceExperience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, Field Engineer, or similar roleStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management softwareUnderstanding of construction documents, project schedules, and contract administrationStrong attention to detail and project coordination abilitiesHighly Preferred QualificationsExperience with Wicks Law projectsUnderstanding of New York State public construction proceduresExperience working with municipalities, government agencies, or school districtsExperience using Autodesk Construction CloudConstruction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related degreeField experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or Project Engineer is a plusExperience with Wicks Law and public-sector construction is highly desirable.
