Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager and project leadership team through all phases of construction. You will play a critical role in coordinating project activities, tracking costs, and ensuring successful project execution.

  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities
  • Support budget tracking, cost control, forecasting, and change management
  • Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and contracts
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and field teams
  • Monitor project schedules using construction management tools and reporting systems
  • Support project meetings and maintain accurate project records
  • Help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

The Successful Applicant

For the Assistant Project Manager - Construction we are seeking:

  • 1-4 years of construction project management, project engineering, or field coordination experience
  • Experience supporting ground-up commercial construction projects preferred
  • Exposure to project financials, budgeting, cost tracking, and forecasting
  • Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore
  • Understanding of project schedules and construction sequencing
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
  • A proactive mindset with a desire to grow into a Project Manager position
