Our client is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support the successful delivery of commercial construction projects throughout Central Pennsylvania. This role works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Description

  • Assist Project Managers with planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.
  • Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and project stakeholders.
  • Track project schedules, budgets, and procurement activities.
  • Conduct site visits and support field operations as needed.
  • Help ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
  • Support project closeout activities and turnover documentation.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-5 years of experience in construction project management, project engineering, or a related role.
  • Experience working for a general contractor is preferred.
  • Understanding of construction documents, scheduling, and project coordination.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore or Bluebeam.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
