The Assistant Superintendent will play a key role in supporting field operations on complex multifamily projects. This Assistant Superintendent position offers exposure to all phases of construction while working alongside experienced project leadership. The ideal Assistant Superintendent will have the opportunity to grow into increased responsibility as the company continues expanding its development pipeline.

Job Description

  • Assist with the day-to-day field supervision of a large ground-up multifamily development.
  • Support the Senior Superintendent in managing project schedules, quality control, safety, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Take ownership of specific areas of the project and independently manage assigned scopes of work.
  • Oversee portions of construction such as MEP systems, framing, drywall, finishes, or other designated areas.
  • Coordinate subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule.
  • Monitor construction progress and help identify solutions to field challenges.
  • Maintain project documentation and reporting through Procore and other project management tools.
  • Participate in site safety initiatives and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Gain exposure to all phases of construction from site development through project completion.
  • Support successful delivery of the project and transition to future multifamily developments.

The Successful Applicant

  • 6+ years of construction experience.
  • Experience on ground-up multifamily and/or hotel projects.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete construction and wood-frame construction.
  • Ability to manage a portion of a project independently with limited oversight.
  • Familiarity with all major phases of construction.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and driving schedule performance.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills in a field environment.
  • Experience with Procore and Microsoft Project preferred.
  • OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certifications are a plus.
  • Construction-related degree preferred but not required.
  • Open to local candidates as well as candidates willing to travel or relocate.
  • Interested in long-term career growth with the opportunity to advance into a Superintendent role.

  • Base Salary: $120,000 - $140,000
  • Project Bonus: Approximately $15,000 per project
