Job Description

  • Support Superintendent and project leadership on large‑scale construction projects
  • Coordinate daily field operations, subcontractors, and site logistics
  • Assist with schedule adherence, safety, and quality control
  • Work collaboratively within large project teams on education and commercial work

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Superintendent should have:

  • 1-3 years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Field Engineer
  • Experience on large project teams; CMS (Charlotte‑Mecklenburg Schools) experience is a strong plus
  • BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Strong communication skills and desire to grow quickly within a project team

What's on Offer

Base salary: $80,000 - $100,000

  • Health insurance: company pays ~75-80%
  • Dental and vision paid by employee
  • Discretionary bonus (typically ~10%, based on company and project performance)
  • 401(k) eligibility after one year
  • PTO: 2 weeks PTO, 1 week sick time, 9 holidays, 2 personal days
