This role supports on-site construction activities for large renovation and new-build projects, with an initial focus on a major K-12 school program in the Charlotte market. Assistant Superintendents will work closely with senior field leadership and large project teams to ensure schedule, safety, and quality execution.

Job Description

  • Support daily field operations, scheduling, and trade coordination
  • Assist with site logistics, safety enforcement, and quality control
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities and inspections
  • Track daily progress, manpower, and site conditions
  • Participate in look-ahead planning and site meetings
  • Work closely with Superintendents and large project teams
  • Support punch list, closeout, and turnover activities

The Successful Applicant

  • 1-3 years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent
  • (Field Engineers will be considered if experience aligns)
  • Experience on large project teams strongly preferred
  • K-12 or school renovation experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment

  • Base salary target: $75K-$95K
  • Discretionary bonus
