We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent to support field operations for commercial interior construction projects across Miami-Dade and Broward County. This role will assist in managing day-to-day site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Description

  • Assist the Superintendent in overseeing all on-site construction activities for commercial interior projects
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and deliveries to ensure efficient workflow
  • Monitor daily work progress and help maintain project schedules
  • Enforce job site safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
  • Conduct site walks to ensure quality control and adherence to plans and specifications
  • Support project documentation, including daily reports, RFIs, and punch lists
  • Help identify and resolve field issues proactively
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure job site
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients

The Successful Applicant

  • 2-5 years of experience in construction, preferably in commercial interiors or tenant improvements
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Familiarity with scheduling software and construction management tools is a plus
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Must be able to travel between job sites throughout Dade and Broward counties



Preferred

  • OSHA 30
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish)
  • Ground Up / K12 experience
