Job Description

The Assistant Superintendent - Ground Up - Charlottesville, VA will:

  • Assist the Superintendent with day-to-day field operations on large-scale projects
  • Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and site logistics
  • Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, organized jobsite
  • Track progress and help resolve field issues to keep projects on schedule
  • Support quality control efforts to ensure work meets contract documents
  • Collaborate with project management and design teams throughout construction

The Successful Applicant

The Assistant Superintendent - Ground Up - Charlottesville, VA will have:

  • 4+ years of experience with a General Contractor
  • Experience supporting projects valued at $60M+
  • Background in multifamily, student housing, mixed-use, or similar markets
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site coordination
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Charlottesville, VA
