Job Description

The Assistant Superintendent | Ground-Up Construction will:

  • Assist the Superintendent with daily jobsite operations and field execution
  • Coordinate subcontractors, trade partners, and site activities to maintain project progress
  • Monitor quality, safety, and schedule performance throughout construction
  • Support site logistics planning and overall project execution strategies
  • Conduct site walks and help ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications
  • Maintain field documentation, reports, and project records
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field personnel
  • Contribute throughout the full project lifecycle, from preconstruction through closeout

The Successful Applicant

The Assistant Superintendent | Ground-Up Construction will have:

  • Currently working as an Assistant Superintendent, Field Engineer, Project Engineer, Foreman, or similar construction professional
  • Ground-up construction experience preferred
  • Multifamily experience is highly desirable, though commercial construction experience will also be considered
  • Strong desire to build a long-term career in field operations and project leadership
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively coordinate subcontractors and manage field activities
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn and grow
  • Open to candidates coming from either a general contractor or subcontractor background
