Job Description

  • Assist the Superintendent in managing daily on‑site construction activities
  • Support coordination of subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries
  • Monitor jobsite safety and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
  • Help maintain project schedules and track progress against milestones
  • Conduct site walks and assist with quality control inspections
  • Coordinate site logistics for large‑scale industrial and retail builds
  • Maintain daily reports, punch lists, and project documentation
  • Communicate effectively with field teams and project management staff

The Successful Applicant

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial construction as an Assistant Superintendent
  • Exposure to light industrial (warehouses, distribution centers) or big box retail projects preferred
  • Basic understanding of construction sequencing and jobsite logistics
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans
  • Strong work ethic with a desire to grow into a Superintendent role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
