The Assistant Superintendent will support the planning and coordination of construction projects in DC Metro area, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role requires collaboration with the construction team and subcontractors to maintain quality and safety standards.

Job Description

  • Assist in managing on-site construction activities to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to maintain workflow and resolve any site-related issues.
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Support the Superintendent in maintaining project schedules and budgets.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily site activities and progress reports.
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating potential risks and delays.

  • Experience with construction projects and site management.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and construction best practices.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with construction management software is a plus.
