Job Description

The Assistant Superintendent's Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly alongside the COO and General Superintendent to drive day-to-day field operations
  • Take ownership of smaller projects early on, gaining hands-on experience running jobs independently from start to finish
  • Build, maintain, and drive project schedules to keep critical milestones on track
  • Own jobsite quality control and safety, ensuring work meets company standards and project requirements
  • Lead subcontractors and self-perform crews in the field, driving productivity, coordination, and accountability

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Assistant Superintendent:

  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience within general construction
  • Ground-up and/or renovation experience across healthcare, commercial, municipal, multifamily, or K-12 construction
  • Working knowledge of industry technology including Procore, Bluebeam, and similar construction management platforms
  • Team-first mentality with a strong work ethic and desire to contribute to a close-knit, family-oriented culture
  • Motivated to build a long-term career with a leading Indianapolis GC and grow into independently running projects in the field
