Job Description

As the Assistant Superintendent, you will support the Project Superintendent in delivering ground‑up light industrial projects, taking ownership of day‑to‑day field execution and coordination.

  • Assist with on‑site supervision of light industrial construction projects
  • Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and daily site activities
  • Maintain project schedules, logistics, and short‑term planning
  • Enforce safety standards and quality control processes
  • Track field progress and support reporting to project leadership
  • Review drawings, RFIs, and submittals with the project team
  • Act as a key on‑site problem solver to keep work moving efficiently

The Successful Applicant

For the Assistant Superintendent we are seeking:

  • Experience supporting field operations on light industrial or commercial projects
  • Background as an Assistant Superintendent or Field Engineer with superintendent exposure
  • Familiarity with warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or food and beverage facilities
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and subcontractor coordination
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a close‑knit team
  • Proficiency with construction drawings and common field software tools
  • A culture‑first mindset and desire to grow long‑term with one business
