Job Description

  • Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, including structuring, negotiation, and execution of transactions.
  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents related to M&A deals.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes.
  • Conduct due diligence and identify potential legal risks in transactions.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices impacting M&A activities.
  • Provide counsel on corporate governance and compliance matters related to transactions.
  • Support senior attorneys in complex legal matters and strategic decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in New York or eligibility to practice law in New York.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions, including drafting and negotiating legal documents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality legal services to clients.
