Our client is a small-medium sized growing Food & Beverage organization in New York City.

This is a temporary to hire position.

Job Description

  • Oversee procurement processes for food and beverage products, ensuring quality and cost-efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement activities with business needs.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain seamless operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and cost analysis.
  • Manage procurement contracts and resolve disputes effectively.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Associate Procurement Manager should have:

  • Prior experience contracting or on temporary assignments with the ability to demonstrate value add from day 1.
  • Experience with procurement processes in the food and beverage industry or related product industries.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
