Job Description

The Real Estate Asset Management Associate will report into senior leadership and play a key role in overseeing a diverse real estate portfolio.

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis including budgeting, forecasting, and asset valuations
  • Partner closely with third-party property management teams and operating partners to execute business plans and drive performance
  • Monitor asset performance and identify value-add opportunities across leasing, capital improvements, and repositioning strategies
  • Maintain and update financial models, including cash flow projections and scenario analysis
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis to support leasing and pricing strategies
  • Develop and track key performance indicators to enhance accountability and portfolio performance
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize capital structures and support asset dispositions

The Successful Applicant

  • 5-7 years of experience in real estate asset management or a related field
  • Proven experience working with and managing third-party management teams to drive asset performance and execute business plans
  • Experience across a variety of asset classes, with openness to working across different property types
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and external partners
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
  • Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree (MBA, MS in Real Estate, or related field) is strongly preferred
