Job Description

  • Lead day‑to‑day onsite construction activities for retail projects.
  • Manage subcontractors, inspections, safety, and site logistics.
  • Coordinate fast‑paced schedules on active retail sites.
  • Work primary night shifts when required by retailer standards.
  • Ensure compliance with retailer safety and operational protocols.
  • Maintain detailed reporting and communication with senior field leadership.
  • Travel sequentially between regional project sites.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Big-Box Superintendent should have:

  • Proven experience working on Walmart and/or Sam's Club projects (required).
  • Ground‑up or remodel retail experience preferred.
  • Walmart certification strongly preferred.
  • Willing and able to travel regularly across the Southeast.
  • Comfortable working nights and adapting to short‑cycle projects.
  • Strong field leadership and subcontractor coordination skills.
  • Must reside in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia.

  • Competitive salary ranging from USD 90.000 to 110.000.
  • Bonus: 10% annual bonus based on base salary
  • Per Diem: $40/day
  • Truck Allowance: ~$165/week
