Job Description

  • Lead all branch operations, including inventory management, purchasing, warehouse, assembly, and customer service functions.
  • Manage and develop a team across Inside Sales, Warehouse, and Assembly departments.
  • Maintain inventory levels and purchasing strategies for specialized products with extended lead times.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and serve as the face of the branch.
  • Oversee vendor-managed inventory programs and ensure customer supply commitments are met.
  • Partner with Inside and Outside Sales teams to support customer retention and business growth.
  • Drive branch profitability through effective financial management, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor branch performance metrics and implement strategies to achieve revenue, service, and profitability goals.
  • Strengthen cross-functional collaboration and develop team versatility across operational functions.
  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through responsive service and operational excellence.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years in inventory management, supply chain, purchasing, operations, or branch leadership within a distribution, manufacturing, industrial, or related environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing cross-functional teams across functions such as customer service, inside sales, warehouse, assembly, or operations.
  • Strong understanding of inventory planning, forecasting, and managing products with extended lead times and customer supply commitments.
  • Customer-focused professional with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfortable balancing operational responsibilities with commercial objectives, including supporting sales growth and customer retention initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience utilizing ERP systems and operational data to drive efficiency and performance; Prophet 21 experience is a plus.
