This position offers the opportunity to work with a respected manufacturer that maintains the culture and agility of a mid-sized business while benefiting from a growing global footprint and expanding international customer base.Job DescriptionDevelop and execute strategic account growth plans for existing and prospective customers.Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across targeted industrial and OEM markets.Build relationships with executive-level stakeholders, engineering teams, procurement leaders, and key decision makers.Expand wallet share within existing accounts by identifying unmet customer needs and introducing value-added solutions.Lead commercial discussions, proposals, pricing negotiations, contract reviews, and long-term partnership agreements.Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, quality, and program management teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.Maintain a strong understanding of customer organizations, competitive positioning, product strategies, and future investment plans.Generate accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business development updates for leadership.Represent the organization at trade shows, technical conferences, industry events, and customer meetings.Support domestic and international business development efforts across multiple end markets.Provide leadership and mentorship within the business development function as assigned.Travel approximately 50-75% to support customers and business growth initiatives.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
