Job Description

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to generate new multifamily development and construction opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with developers, brokers, investors, landowners, consultants, architects, engineers, and other industry stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue prospective projects throughout the DFW market and surrounding growth corridors
  • Track market activity, competitive trends, development opportunities, and emerging customer needs
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, conferences, and association meetings
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to establish growth objectives and pursuit strategies
  • Support site acquisition, due diligence, and project pursuit efforts when applicable
  • Coordinate with development, preconstruction, and operations teams during project pursuits
  • Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and provide regular reporting on business development activities
  • Assist with proposal development, presentations, and client communications
  • Develop and implement client retention and relationship management strategies
  • Help expand market presence and strengthen brand positioning throughout the multifamily community
  • Identify strategic partnerships that support future growth initiatives
  • Maintain detailed CRM records and pipeline reporting
  • Serve as a trusted industry resource while promoting the company's values and capabilities

The Successful Applicant

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business development, sales, client development, or relationship management experience
  • Experience within multifamily development, real estate, construction, commercial real estate, or related industries
  • Established network of industry relationships within the DFW market
  • Strong understanding of multifamily development and construction processes
  • Proven ability to generate leads, develop relationships, and close opportunities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and pipeline management capabilities
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to build credibility with executive leadership, clients, and industry partners
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office products



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with multifamily developers, owners, investors, or general contractors
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Construction Management, Marketing, or a related field
  • Involvement in industry organizations such as ULI, NAIOP, TAA, BOMA, or similar groups
  • Understanding of land acquisition, development, or capital market processes
  • Existing relationships throughout the Texas multifamily market
