A well-established construction management firm is seeking a Project Manager to oversee pharmaceutical and life science construction projects throughout Central New Jersey. This individual will manage projects from preconstruction through closeout while working closely with clients, subcontractors, field teams, and internal leadership.

Job Description

Manage pharmaceutical and life science projects from planning through closeout.

Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and overall execution.

Lead project meetings with clients, design teams, and trade partners.

Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project documentation.

Review drawings and specifications for constructability and coordination.

Monitor project costs and provide forecasting throughout the project.

Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams.

Manage subcontractor scopes, contracts, and change orders.

Maintain project schedules and identify potential delays.

Ensure projects meet client safety, quality, and operational requirements.

Manage construction activities within active and occupied facilities.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.

Support project turnover, punch list, commissioning, and closeout.

The Successful Applicant

8+ years of construction project management experience.

Experience with a General Contractor or Construction Manager.

Pharmaceutical, life science, healthcare, or technical construction experience preferred.

Experience working in active or occupied facilities is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of MEP systems and technically complex construction.

Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.

Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software.

Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Ability to read and understand architectural and MEP drawings.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
