Job Description

  • Strong knowledge of sitework operations, including earthwork, grading, excavation, and erosion control
  • Hands-on experience with underground utility installation such as water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage systems
  • Ability to interpret civil drawings, utility plans, and specifications to guide field execution
  • Coordinates daily activities of subcontractors, crews, and suppliers to maintain project schedule
  • Identifies and resolves field conflicts such as utility clashes, unforeseen subsurface conditions, and design discrepancies
  • Tracks quantities, production rates, and costs to support budgeting and project controls
  • Ensures compliance with local codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations
  • Communicates effectively with owners, inspectors, engineers, and internal teams
  • Manages RFIs, submittals, and change orders related to sitework and utility scopes
  • Proactively plans sequencing of work to optimize efficiency and minimize rework

  • Proactively identifies and resolves field issues such as utility conflicts, unforeseen site conditions, and design discrepancies
  • Maintains a strong focus on safety, quality control, and compliance with local codes and regulatory standards
  • Demonstrates cost awareness by tracking quantities, productivity, and supporting project budgeting efforts
  • Communicates clearly and professionally with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
