The Superintendent will be based out of the Raleigh office but will initially take on a 10-16 month project assignment in Charlotte. After project completion, this individual will transition back to full‑time Raleigh‑based work with no long‑term travel requirement.

Job Description

  • Lead onsite construction operations from mobilization through closeout.
  • Oversee subcontractors, scheduling, logistics, and safety compliance.
  • Manage project execution across CMAR, design‑build, and hard bid delivery methods.
  • Maintain quality standards across structural and building systems.
  • Run subcontractor coordination meetings and daily site activities.
  • Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Partner closely with PMs and operations leadership.

The Successful Applicant

A successful CMAR Superintendent should have:

  • Experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
  • Background across CMAR, design‑build, and/or hard bid projects.
  • Ability to run projects independently from start to finish.
  • Comfortable leading field operations and managing subcontractors.
  • Willingness to travel to Charlotte for 10-16 months, then relocate back to Raleigh projects.
  • Strong tenure and steady work history preferred.
  • Hands‑on, field‑driven leadership style
