Job Description

In this role you will report to the Director of Operations and be responsible for:



  • Reviewing product designs for manufacturability, tolerances, quality standards, and cost considerations


  • Determining fixture and gage needs for new components and designing or sourcing required items


  • Preparing manufacturing documentation including setup sheets, sketches, and shop floor instructions


  • Programming CNC machines, resolving startup issues, and optimizing cutting parameters for efficiency and tool life


  • Troubleshooting machinery and process issues in collaboration with shop personnel and engineering teams


  • Working hands-on with CNC lathes, machining centers, and a variety of manufacturing equipment


  • Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, quality, supervision, and operations to improve productivity and quality


  • Participating in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for quality issues


  • Assisting in training machine operators on procedures and task-specific processes

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • Associates degree or equivalent
  • CAD/CAM drawing / design / dimensioning familiarity
  • 5+ years CNC machining experience, turning and milling preferred
  • MRP / ERP experience a plus
  • Machine shop knowledge
