Job Description

  • Develop and optimize CNC machining processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process consistency and quality standards are met.
  • Create and modify CNC programs to support production requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce cycle times.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for CNC machining operations.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
  • Train and mentor operators on proper CNC machine usage and maintenance practices.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all manufacturing processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful CNC Process Engineer should have:

  • Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, tools, and equipment used in the aerospace industry.
  • Proficiency in creating and editing CNC programs using relevant software.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address manufacturing challenges.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A degree or certification in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
