Job Description

A successful Commercial Construction Project Manager | Bloomfield, CT:

    • Manage commercial construction projects from award through completion.
    • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost forecasts.
    • Lead subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and buyout activities.
    • Coordinate architects, engineers, owners, consultants, and field teams.
    • Review and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and monthly billings.
    • Monitor project performance to ensure schedule, budget, and quality objectives are achieved.
    • Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to clients and company leadership.
    • Support superintendents in resolving field issues and maintaining project momentum.
    • Ensure compliance with safety standards, contractual requirements, and project specifications.
    • Manage project closeout, punch lists, and turnover documentation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Commercial Construction Project Manager | Bloomfield, CT:

    • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor.
    • Experience managing commercial construction projects valued from $5M-$50M+.
    • Background in corporate, healthcare, industrial, retail, mixed-use, or institutional construction preferred.
    • Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and contract management.
    • Experience with Procore, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction software.
    • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
