One of Augusta's top commercial general contractors is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead ground up construction projects throughout the Augusta region and surrounding markets. The organization has a long standing reputation for quality construction, design build capabilities, client focused service, and repeat business relationships developed over decades in the Southeast.

Job Description

  • Manage commercial construction projects from award through completion.
  • Oversee budgeting, contract administration, procurement, and cost controls.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and field teams.
  • Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to clients and company leadership.
  • Review plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support successful project closeout, punch list completion, and warranty activities.
  • Foster strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be a proactive leader who takes ownership of project outcomes, builds strong client relationships, and consistently delivers commercial construction projects on time and within budget.

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager for a commercial general contractor.
  • Proven experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and cost management.
  • Experience leading multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Must reside within commuting distance of Augusta, Georgia.
