With a collaborative culture, repeat client base, and commitment to excellence, the company offers employees the opportunity to work on impactful projects while building long-term careers.Job DescriptionThe Commercial Construction Superintendent will be responsible for the day-to-day management of field operations and project execution.Key responsibilities include:Lead all onsite construction activities from project startup through completion.Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion of project milestones.Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trade partners, vendors, and field personnel.Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress, productivity, and quality of work.Work closely with Project Managers to align field operations with project budgets and schedules.Identify and proactively resolve construction challenges, delays, and conflicts.Manage project logistics, site access, deliveries, staging areas, and material flow.Ensure all work is performed according to plans, specifications, and building codes.Maintain strict compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.Lead weekly subcontractor meetings and daily coordination activities.Perform quality control inspections and oversee corrective actions when necessary.Coordinate inspections with municipalities, owners, architects, and consultants.Monitor manpower requirements and workforce performance throughout the project lifecycle.Maintain accurate field documentation, including daily reports, safety records, and progress updates.Support project closeout activities, punch list completion, turnover documentation, and owner acceptance.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
