We are seeking a motivated Commercial Interior Assistant Project Manager - Long Island, NY to support the successful delivery of commercial interior construction projects across Long Island and the New York Metro area. This role will work closely with Project Managers and field teams to coordinate project documentation, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and client communications from preconstruction through closeout.

Job Description

A successful Commercial Interior Assistant Project Manager - Long Island, NY:

      • Assist Project Managers with daily project coordination and administration.
      • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
      • Track project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor performance.
      • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and field personnel to ensure project goals are met.
      • Support procurement activities and material deliveries.
      • Attend project meetings and assist with reporting on project progress.
      • Help facilitate project closeout, punch-list management, and turnover documentation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Commercial Interior Assistant Project Manager - Long Island, NY:

      • 2+ years of experience in commercial construction project management or project engineering.
      • Experience supporting commercial interior, office fit-out, healthcare, retail, or tenant improvement projects.
      • Strong organizational and communication skills.
      • Familiarity with construction documentation, subcontractor coordination, and project scheduling.
      • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar construction management software.
      • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
