Job Description

Key responsibilities include:
- Manage commercial, higher education, and institutional construction projects from planning through completion
- Drive project schedules, budgets, and overall project performance
- Lead project teams and foster collaboration between field and office personnel
- Create and maintain project work plans, schedules, and cost forecasts
- Manage subcontractor procurement, contracts, and buyout activities
- Deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget
- Coordinate architects, engineers, owners, consultants, and trade partners
- Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Monitor project financials, costs, billings, and profitability
- Create solutions and proactively resolve project challenges
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Run project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle

The Successful Applicant

5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager
Proven experience managing ground-up commercial, education, or higher education construction projects
Experience delivering projects valued at $10M or greater
Strong understanding of construction management principles, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration
Experience managing multiple stakeholders and project teams
Strong financial acumen and ability to manage project costs and forecasting
Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and owners
