Job Description

  • Coordinate daily on-site construction activities to keep project work aligned with the schedule.
  • Monitor field progress and address day-to-day issues that affect planned work.
  • Work with project stakeholders to sequence tasks and maintain clear communication across the site.
  • Review completed work to confirm it meets project plans and requirements.
  • Promote safe work practices across active construction areas.
  • Track materials, equipment, and site needs to help crews complete planned work.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily activity and project progress updates.
  • Coordinate site access and work areas to support timely project completion.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Commercial Superintendent should have:

  • Experience overseeing commercial construction work from the field.
  • Experience coordinating daily construction activities and project schedules.
  • Ability to read project plans and apply requirements to site work.
  • Experience monitoring jobsite progress and maintaining daily reports.
  • Knowledge of construction safety practices and site coordination.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with crews, contractors, and project stakeholders.
