Job Description

  • Lead onsite construction for retail and restaurant projects from start to finish
  • Manage both ground‑up and tenant improvement (TI) builds
  • Coordinate subcontractors, scheduling, and daily site operations
  • Maintain fast-paced project timelines and turnover expectations
  • Communicate regularly with Project Managers and leadership
  • Travel consistently between project locations across the Southeast
  • Ensure jobsite safety, quality control, and client satisfaction

The Successful Applicant

A successful Commercial Traveling Superintendent should have:

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience in retail or restaurant construction
  • Experience with franchise-style projects (fast casual, fitness, service retail)
  • Background in both ground-up and interior fit-outs
  • Prior traveling Superintendent experience required
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Proven ability to manage fast-paced, quick-turn projects
  • Not a fit for luxury retail-only background

What's on Offer

  • Base Salary: $90K - $120K
  • Bonus: Up to 10% annually
  • Per Diem: ~$40/day (lodging + meals)
  • Vehicle: Company vehicle provided after 3 months
  • 401(k): 3% automatic company contribution
