This role requires strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of concrete construction in South Florida, and the ability to collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.Estimating & PreconstructionPrepare accurate and detailed quantity takeoffs for concrete shell scopes (footings, slabs, masonry, elevated decks, rebar, formwork, etc.)Analyze plans, specifications, geotechnical reports, and project documentsSolicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bidsDevelop comprehensive cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and production ratesIdentify project risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving strategiesMaintain and update historical cost databases and unit pricingBid ManagementLead or support bid preparation, review, and submissionDevelop scope clarifications and exclusionsParticipate in post-bid interviews and presentationsEnsure alignment with company margins and risk toleranceProject CoordinationCollaborate with project management teams for smooth handoff of awarded workAssist with budgets, schedules, and cost tracking during preconstructionSupport change order pricing and cost analysis as requiredMarket & Client Engagement (Senior Role)Build and maintain relationships with developers, general contractors, and design teamsParticipate in networking and business development effortsTrack market trends and competitive pricing in South FloridaMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
