Job Description

  • Support Project Managers with the planning and execution of multiple construction projects simultaneously
  • Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and subcontractor coordination
  • Track project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reporting
  • Collaborate with field teams, clients, architects, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle
  • Participate in project meetings and maintain communication between office and field operations
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, quality standards, and safety compliance
  • Assist with project closeout activities and turnover documentation
  • Gain exposure to all phases of construction through a structured development and mentorship environment

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • 0-4 years of experience in construction management, engineering, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Eagerness to learn and build a long-term career in commercial construction
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple active projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; construction software experience is a plus but not required
  • Team-first attitude with a proactive, "go-getter" mentality
  • Ability to commute to South Burlington, VT and travel periodically to project sites throughout Vermont and nearby regions
