Job Description

As a Construction Assistant Project Manager - Class A Interiors | NYC, you will:

    • Assist Project Managers with the execution of Class A interior construction projects.
    • Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, procurement logs, and project documentation.
    • Coordinate with architects, engineers, landlords, subcontractors, and clients.
    • Track budgets, schedules, and project milestones.
    • Participate in OAC meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
    • Support project buyout and subcontract administration activities.
    • Conduct site walks and assist with quality control and closeout processes.
    • Help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Construction Assistant Project Manager - Class A Interiors | NYC candidate will have:

    • 2-5 years of experience with a NYC general contractor or construction manager.
    • Experience supporting commercial interior fit-out projects.
    • Strong understanding of construction documents, project schedules, and subcontractor coordination.
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
    • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar software.
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Motivated to develop into a Project Manager role.
