Job Description

  • Assist Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.
  • Support project documentation including contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, permits, and closeout packages.
  • Track project schedules, budgets, and key milestones to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and field teams to maintain project progress.
  • Attend project meetings and prepare meeting notes, action items, and status updates.
  • Monitor material procurement and assist with tracking lead times and deliveries.
  • Maintain project records and ensure compliance with company standards and safety requirements.
  • Help identify project risks and support the resolution of issues as they arise.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 1-4 years of construction experience in a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or similar construction role.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project documentation, and project coordination.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to learn, develop professionally, and advance within the construction industry.
