The business partners with developers, property owners, retailers, healthcare organizations, and commercial real estate stakeholders and is investing significantly in its next phase of growth across Central Texas.

Job Description

Reporting directly to executive leadership, the Business Development Manager will play a critical role in building brand presence, identifying opportunities, and securing new work throughout the region.

  • Develop and own the business development strategy for the Austin and Central Texas market.
  • Generate and qualify opportunities across ground-up, tenant improvement, and design-build projects.
  • Build relationships with developers, owners, brokers, architects, consultants, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Lead prequalification submissions and support proposal and RFP efforts in partnership with estimating and operations teams.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, networking functions, and trade associations.
  • Maintain a disciplined sales pipeline, forecast future opportunities, and provide market intelligence to leadership.
  • Ensure seamless handover of awarded projects to preconstruction and delivery teams.

The Successful Applicant

For the Business Development Manager we are seeking:

  • 7+ years of business development experience within commercial construction, general contracting, construction management, or a related client-facing role.
  • Demonstrated success securing commercial construction projects throughout Central Texas.
  • Established relationships with developers, REITs, property owners, tenant representation brokers, asset managers, and corporate real estate decision-makers.
  • Experience selling both ground-up and interior construction solutions.
  • Background supporting retail, restaurant, healthcare, hospitality, office, or multi-site rollout programs is highly desirable.
  • The ability to manage forecasting, opportunity qualification, and client engagement.
  • Proficiency with Procore and familiarity with Bluebeam, construction technology platforms, and CRM systems. Experience with ConstructConnect, Dodge, or similar platforms is advantageous.
  • Valid Texas driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the region.
