Job Description

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards on all project sites.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and clients, to ensure project goals are met.
  • Monitor project progress and address any delays or issues promptly.
  • Prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients.
  • Supervise on-site teams and provide guidance to ensure efficient operations.
  • Coordinate procurement and delivery of materials and equipment to project sites.
  • Identify opportunities for cost-saving and process improvement during project execution.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Manager - Travel Role should have:

  • 5+ years of construction management experience supporting transmission and/or substation projects
  • Experience managing utility, EPC, or power delivery construction projects
  • Strong understanding of high-voltage construction practices, safety standards, and utility procedures
  • Experience supporting projects within 69kV, 138kV, 230kV, and/or 500kV systems preferred
  • Ability to read construction drawings, schedules, and technical specifications
  • Strong leadership, communication, and contractor management skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work at project sites throughout the region
