Job Description

  • Manage K-12 and higher education construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts.
  • Lead subcontractor procurement, buyout, and contract administration activities.
  • Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, and field leadership teams.
  • Monitor project financial performance and proactively address risks.
  • Support schedule development and ensure milestone achievement.
  • Oversee project reporting, cost controls, and monthly forecasting.
  • Ensure successful project turnover, punch list completion, and closeout.
  • Foster strong client relationships and drive repeat business opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Project Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Experience as a Project Manager with a general contractor is required.
  • K-12 and/or higher education construction project experience is required.
  • Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and cost reporting.
  • Experience with subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and change management.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with owners, architects, and project stakeholders.
  • Experience leading multiple project phases simultaneously is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated success delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
