Job Description



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage public and commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects, typically ranging from 5 to 10 active assignments.
  • Administer construction contracts and ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations.
  • Coordinate project setup, submittals, RFIs, change orders, procurement activities, budgeting, scheduling, and client communications.
  • Lead project communication with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and municipal stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with field Superintendents to ensure successful project execution and timely delivery.
  • Monitor project financial performance, forecasting, cost control, and reporting.
  • Maintain project documentation and reporting within Procore and other project management systems.
  • Participate in project meetings and conduct site visits as needed throughout New Jersey.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to client expectations.

The Successful Candidate

  • 10+ years of project management experience within public construction, commercial construction, or a combination of both.
  • Experience managing projects from contract award through closeout.
  • Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, contract administration, procurement, and subcontractor management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with institutional, educational, municipal, healthcare, government, or other public-sector projects is highly desirable.
  • Procore experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated professional who can work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
  • Resides within reasonable commuting distance of the Oceanport, NJ area and is comfortable traveling to project sites as needed.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
