Job Description

  • Lead the planning and execution of public work construction projects in Raleigh.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure project goals are met.
  • Oversee on-site operations to ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to streamline project workflows.
  • Monitor project progress and address potential issues proactively.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to local regulations and industry standards.
  • Foster strong relationships with public agencies and other key partners.

The Successful Applicant

  • Project Management experience in commercial construction
  • Experience with public-sector projects preferred
  • CMAR (Construction Manager at Risk) experience strongly preferred
  • Background in municipal, K-12, higher education, civic, or institutional projects is a plus
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Stable work history with solid tenure
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a growing office environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
