Job Description

  • Lead all on-site construction activities for healthcare projects from mobilization through project completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with project management teams.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and field personnel to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control requirements, life safety measures, and hospital operational protocols.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality standards and identify potential issues.
  • Manage daily site logistics, workforce planning, and material deliveries.
  • Enforce company safety policies and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Participate in client, architect, and subcontractor meetings, providing project progress updates.
  • Monitor project milestones and proactively resolve scheduling or construction challenges.
  • Oversee project closeout activities, including punch lists, inspections, and final turnover.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent delivering healthcare construction projects for a General Contractor.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare construction standards, infection control procedures, and phased construction in occupied facilities.
  • Experience managing hospital renovations, medical office buildings, outpatient centers, or specialty healthcare facilities.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple trades effectively.
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing, and quality control processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • OSHA certification and healthcare construction experience are highly desirable.
