Job Description

  • Lead or support projects from preconstruction through closeout depending on level
  • Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring quality, schedule, and safety standards are met
  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, and design teams
  • Oversee layout processes and work alongside foremen to ensure precision execution
  • Drive job sequencing and maintain short-term schedules (3-week lookaheads)
  • Facilitate and contribute to OAC meetings, ensuring clear communication across stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships with architects, subcontractors, and clients
  • Maintain detailed daily reports and project documentation in Procore
  • Enforce and promote a strong safety culture on-site
  • Manage one project at a time, ranging from $2.5M-$40M in value

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interior Assistant Superintendent / Superintendent should have:

  • 3+ years as a Lead Superintendent running projects start-to-finish (for Superintendent level)
  • 3+ years as an Assistant Superintendent with experience running smaller jobs independently
  • Background in corporate interiors or high-end interiors (law firm projects preferred)
  • Proven experience with Procore (daily reports required; scheduling module a plus)
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and layout processes
  • Comfortable leading OAC meetings and coordinating multiple stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (including scheduling and lookahead planning)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with PMs and site teams
  • Open to travel (preferred, with per diem provided)
