Job Description

Commercial Interiors Superintendent - Manhattan, NYC

    • Manage all on-site construction activities for commercial interior projects
    • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site logistics in live/occupied environments
    • Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
    • Enforce strict safety protocols and maintain compliance with NYC regulations
    • Conduct daily site inspections, track progress, and resolve field issues proactively
    • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and design teams to ensure seamless execution
    • Lead site meetings and maintain accurate project documentation

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Superintendent should have:

    • Proven experience as a Superintendent delivering commercial interiors projects in NYC
    • Strong knowledge of sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
    • Experience working in occupied or tenant improvement environments
    • Solid understanding of NYC building codes, safety standards, and regulations
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple moving parts effectively
