Job Description

The Superintendent will be responsible for:

  • Managing all daily field operations from groundbreaking through turnover
  • Maintaining and enforcing project schedules
  • Coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
  • Leading site safety initiatives and ensuring OSHA compliance
  • Conducting subcontractor meetings and progress reviews
  • Monitoring project quality and workmanship standards
  • Reviewing plans, specifications, and construction documents
  • Coordinating inspections and resolving field issues
  • Partnering with Project Managers to ensure budget and schedule goals are achieved
  • Maintaining positive relationships with owners, architects, and trade partners

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a commercial General Contractor
  • Experience leading projects valued between $10M and $100M+
  • Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors and field teams
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Proficiency with Procore and construction technology platforms
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Stable employment history and strong project tenure
