The Continuous Improvement Lead will drive manufacturing excellence by optimizing processes, reducing waste, improving quality, and increasing productivity across the operation. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, this individual will lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives while partnering cross-functionally to align production performance with business objectives.

Job Description

  • Design and improve manufacturing systems to increase productivity and reduce waste.
  • Implement process controls that ensure consistent product quality.
  • Partner with engineering and operations teams to develop efficient production methods.
  • Monitor manufacturing metrics and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Support engineering change activities and assess operational impacts.
  • Train and mentor employees on new processes, systems, and technologies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Continuous Improvement Lead should have:

  • 5+ years of continuous improvement experience within manufacturing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience leading Lean Manufacturing and process improvement projects.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and operational excellence methodologies.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Contract manufacturing experience is a plus.
