This individual will play a key role in financial oversight, project cost control, and strategic decision‑making, while building scalable processes to support growth.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable (limited AR), payroll, and financial reportingLead monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes with accuracy and timelinessPrepare and present GAAP‑compliant financial statementsDevelop and manage project‑level and company‑wide budgets, forecasts, and cash flow modelsMonitor construction and development costs against budgets and projectionsOwn percentage‑of‑completion accounting, construction draw management, and lender reportingImplement and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and proceduresCoordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, lenders, and CPAs for annual filingsPrepare monthly financial presentations for ownershipManage, mentor, and develop the accounting team as the organisation scalesEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulationsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
