They have a collaborative, tenured team environment and are looking to bring in a hands‑on Controller to support continued growth and strengthen their financial operations.Job DescriptionThe responsibilities of the Controller include:Own and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reportingOversee cost accounting and inventory valuation within a manufacturing environment, including analysis of variancesPrepare and review financial statements, P&L analysis, and balance sheet reconciliationsLead and develop a small accounting team, ensuring strong performance and collaborationPartner closely with operations and leadership to drive financial insights, improve processes, and support business decisionsMaintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and audit requirementsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow managementIdentify and implement process improvements and efficiencies across the accounting functionMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
