Job Description

  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales input.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align demand plans with business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize excess inventory.
  • Identify and address potential supply chain disruptions to maintain seamless operations.
  • Utilize forecasting tools and software to improve accuracy and efficiency in demand planning.
  • Generate and present regular reports on forecast accuracy and inventory performance to key stakeholders.
  • Partner with suppliers to manage lead times and ensure timely product delivery.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve demand planning processes and strategies.

A successful Demand Planner should have:

  • Proficiency in demand planning tools and software, with a good understanding of supply chain principles.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A background in procurement and supply chain management or a related field.
